Palin believes in the Lord God. Oprah believes in…well…Oprah author is comparing the spiritual beliefs of talk-show host Oprah Winfrey and Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin.

Robert Bowie Johnson, Jr., has investigated the spiritual beliefs of the two women, and has posted the findings on his blog, The contrasts, he says, are stark and revealing.
“Sarah believes the scriptures are the Word of God and they are his infallible words in the original languages,” says Johnson. “Oprah believes that diving revelation comes from her new age guru, Eckhart Tolle — and that he is infallible and that his words supercede the words of Christ and all of scripture.” As he puts it in his blog: “Sarah worships the Creator of the heavens and the earth. Oprah worships herself.”
Tolle is author of the bestseller A New Earth. The book encourages readers to find the so-called goodness that is already in them, and allowing that goodness to emerge. Johnson describes Tolle as “a case study in the development of the mental illness of malignant narcissism” and someone who is “obsessed with the two-dimensional reflection of his image.”

Oprah Winfrey has endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, describing him as an “evolved leader” and “the one.” Johnson says she has endorsed Obama “because she knows how much like her he is.”

I suppose that having a “witch doctor” praying over you is fine but Oprah is a pagan? I am a Christian and I ascribe to the teaching of Jesus Christ to love instead of condemn. Only God knows all our hearts. It’s is so sad that people like you have taken it upon yourselves to decide whether people in public life are Christians or not. I thank God that He and not you will be my judge.
