The “Bitter” Message of “Prophetess” Juanita Bynum

from CRN

Juanita Bynum, self-proclaimed “prophetess” and one of TBN’s big drawing cards, had already gone on the defensive. Just eleven days before the incident with her husband “Bishop” Thomas Weeks where–according to Fox News–she “was badly bruised in a fight with her estranged husband as they met in an attempt to reconcile, Bynum is “preaching” to a crowd of mostly women. As you watch the video, notice that most of the men that are in the crowd are not cheering and going crazy, with the exception of the one stocky guy in the disco white suit in the front.

In addition you should read a thought provoking article by Lee Grady,  Managing Editor of Charisma Magazine, entitled Wife Beaters and Abusived Preachers: Let’s Arrest the Violence

i would like to say just one thing, i am really shocked at the way people in passing remarks on this issue.
Any one can be a victim, and just because YOU ARE NOT THE VICTIM, DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU CAN NOT BECOME A VICTIM TOMORROW, OR ANY ONE OF YOUR RELATIVE OR FRIENDS.

SO KEEEEEEEP SHUT. and pray for her.

I will pray for you always.

Just one question for the Expositor: Now that Bishop Weeks has gone from stating the devil made him do it, to he never touched his wife, to he pushed her away from her attempting to attack him, to pleading guilty for assaulting her, (all publicly but noticeably absent from your posted videos), and, two eyewitness statements on public record from two independent men who did not have any relationship w/Bynum or Weeks verify he abused her as she stated, AND, (aren’t you tired yet???) Week’s former church organist, and a ministry staffer had statements of his physical abuse against them, how could you in good conscience keep this post up with all that has been revealed? NOw a statement: There is no glory of God in all of this, intimating that 11 days before her words spoke of a set up, and abused men need any attention b/c of this foolishness: People who think set up, are set up thinkers for a reason.
